SPNHC-NSCA Meeting 2006 Logo

Workshops #1 and #2 morning sessions are full. There are still openings in these workshops in the afternoon. Workshop 4 has been cancelled due to unforseen events.

REGISTRATION FEES
Early Bird Deadline: March 24, 2006!

The registration fee covers admission to the conference, Ice Breaker reception on May 24, continental breakfast and refreshment breaks during the two days of presentations on May 25-26, and printed program with abstracts. Optional pre-conference field trips, Thursday evening banquet/dance, and post-conference workshops are available at additional cost and not included in the registration fee.

SPNHC or NSC Alliance Member Rates:
Early Bird Registration $200 – Deadline March 24, 2006
Registration $250 – All registrations received after March 24 are at the regular rate.

Non-Member Rates:
Early Bird Registration $230 – Deadline March 24, 2006
Registration $280 – All registrations received after March 24 are at the regular rate.

Student Rate:
Full-time Student Registration $130
(Students must submit a copy of their current student ID with their registration form).

$30 per person

Valles Caldera National Preserve
9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (times subject to change)

Sandia Mountains
9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (times subject to change)
$40 per person

Half-Day Field Trip:

Petroglyph National Monument
8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (times subject to change)
$25 per person

SPNHC-NSCA Banquet and Dance
Featuring Syd Masters and the Swing Riders
Thursday, May 25, 6:30 p.m. to midnight
Franciscan Ballroom, Hotel Albuquerque at Old Town
$60 per person

Post-Conference Workshops:

Workshop #1 - Data quality and data cleaning (half-day)

Workshop #2 - The ins and outs of imaging for museum collections (half-day)

Workshop #3 - Arctos: a biodiversity informatics tool (morning)

Workshop #4 - Becoming a GBIF provider (full-day)

Cancellations: Must be received in writing by May 10, 2006 in order to receive a refund, minus a processing fee. Alternately, delegate substitution is acceptable with advance notice. Contact the NSC Alliance office for further information.

Conference t-shirt $20

The conference t-shirt is 100% cotton, short-sleeve, and in dark turquoise. The logo displays the Route 66 sign with the encircled words "Get your kicks in 2006! SPNHC-NSCA Albuquerque". Carrying through with the theme of "the road to productive partnerships" is an asymmetric angle of a two-way road extending to the horizon.

Available in medium, large and extra-large sizes.
