Trade Show

SPNHC-NSCA Meeting 2006 Logo

We are actively seeking exhibitors to promote their products, services, and achievements at the Trade Show that will be held in conjunction with the annual meetings of the Society for the Preservation of Natural History Collections and the Natural Science Collections Alliance. The Trade Show takes place on 25 and 26 May 2006 and will be held in the East and South atria of the Hotel Albuquerque.

View the floor plan (below) and table layout.

We anticipate over 300 delegates, including collection managers, curators, registrars, conservators, and museum directors. The delegates come from all over the United States and Canada, and we also expect attendees from Europe. This specialized and motivated group of people is eager to learn firsthand about products and services that will enable them to provide the best care for the collections entrusted to them. The Trade Show is an excellent opportunity for those with a vested interest in the preservation of natural history collections to come together and promote their products, services, and achievements. Your participation in the trade Show will allow delegates to meet you and learn about your products and services; your support will greatly enhance their meeting experience.

In addition to participation in the Trade Show as an exhibitor, you also have several other opportunities in which to promote your business or organization at the conference and, through sponsorship, to help us defray the considerable costs of hosting the meeting:

• place an advertisement in the “Program and Abstracts”. This publication will be distributed to all those attending the conference.

• sponsor a refreshment break or poster session. Recognition will be included in the registration material and “Program and Abstracts” and a sign displayed near the venue featuring your company’s name.

• sponsor a workshop, technical session, Ice Breaker, or the Banquet. These are among the highest levels of sponsorship and provide you with maximum recognition.

If you are interested in exhibiting at the Trade Show or in sponsorship opportunities, please complete the 2-page Application Form and return with payment to Karen Kajiwara (c/o Natural Science Collections Alliance, P.O. Box 44095, Washington, DC 20026-4095, USA) at your earliest convenience.
